After enjoying a delightful breakfast at your hotel, your tour manager will collect you from your accommodation to join a small group on a modern, air-conditioned coach for an excursion to the breathtaking Abu Simbel Temples.

These temples, built by Ramses II in a distinctive style, are regarded as the masterpieces of ancient Egypt, showcasing the splendor and magnificence of the New Kingdom. To safeguard these temples from the impending flood caused by the Aswan Dam, the Egyptian government and UNESCO collaborated in their preservation.

The Abu Simbel Temples are devoted to four universal deities: Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramses II himself. The illustrious Temple of Ramses II is also known as the Sun Temple of Ramesses II. Additionally, the Temple of Queen Nefertari is referred to as the Temple of Hathor, who was the consort of the Sun God.

Therefore, symbolically, these two temples unite Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God as one entity. After this awe-inspiring visit, you will be accompanied to board the luxurious Salacia Nile cruise in Aswan.
